The Bestar Pur Queen Murphy Bed and 2 Shelving Units with Drawers (115W) is the ideal space saver for a multipurpose room. The mattress support uses flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure for maximum comfort. The Queen Murphy bed can be used every night for a good night’s sleep. The bed folds up and down smoothly thanks to the dual piston system. The wall bed accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb. The open bed extends 92 inches from the wall. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 91.1 inches. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. The shelving units come with 2 fixed and 3 adjustable shelves and 3 drawers to hold your belongings. I like the bed system over all. I’m a little disappointed in the way it was packed, and the edge finish. It was so dusty and marked from the packaging. After it was all assembled the edges around the drawers had white lines where there was no finish. It does work well for my space and the drawers are large.

The wall bed and storage units with drawers looks great and works well. The only complaint was that when it came time to attach the face board that ends up under the opened bed the screws could not attach. The particle board hole widened and the screws could not grasp. Otherwise, I had no trouble putting the bed together. It just required patience and the assistance of my daughter to hold one end of a piece while I screwed in the other end.

This is my second major purchase from Bestar. Our first wall-bed was purchased more than 12 years ago, and served us perfectly as an extra "guest suite" for our visitors. It was a no-brainer to go back to them when we moved and wanted to replicate a similar guest area in our new home. I love that you can order as much or as little as you want, configure it pretty much any way, and get a variety of colours and finishes. The ordering was easy, the delivery was seamless, and they were accommodating about delivery times. Make sure you have the tools to complete the job and the time to do it. It took us a solid 2.5-3 days to prep the area, locate all the anchor points in our wall and build the 3-section unit that we purchased. It's like a HUGE Lego project! Take your time and you'll have no issues. The instructions are pretty decent, but you need to make a few assumptions in a couple of the steps as you go along. Some of the steps were clearly translated from another language and weren't completely clear, but the pictures helped a lot. When budgeting for this reno, make sure you remember to factor in the cost of a mattress too. I like that were weren't made to have one included in the cost, like most pullout couches do. We shopped for one we loved and got exactly what we wanted. I love our new queen-sized guest bed...and so do our guests! Hotel quality, and an instant bedroom!

Our furniture is warranted to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship. These defects include all the imperfections that can affect the use of the product. As is most often the case, our warranty covers the normal use of the product. To this effect, note that except for the Outdoor collection, our furniture is not intended to be used outdoors.
Our warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of components and furniture for the period specified on the product sheet, and it does not include labor or assembly costs.
