BESTAR purchases responsible, local products in order to reduce our footprint. This approach is applied in many ways both in the office and in the plant. 

• All our particleboard panels contain 100% recycled and recovered wood fibers selected from responsibly managed forests. They also meet the California Air Ressources Board (CARB) regulation, regarding formaldehyde emissions. 

• We use water-based resins free of volatile organic additives to laminate our panels, non-toxic, 100% solid, thermofusible PVA resins to apply our edge strips. 

• All our boxes are made from 80% recycled cardboard fiber.  

• All our cleaning products are biodegradable and made from recycled paper.

• All our packaging is 100% recyclable.
